Minna Arve has served as the Mayor of Turku, Finland, since 2017. Arve is a Master of Economics and a nurse. She has also led a long career in municipal politics. As Mayor, she prioritizes sustainable growth, social exclusion prevention, and climate and nature initiatives, actively advocating for innovative cultural, industrial, and business policies. Furthermore, Arve actively fosters international cooperation and holds the position of Vice President at ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability.
