Eleanor Purser is Co-Strategic Director for Sustainable Growth and Regeneration at London Borough of Lambeth, having joined in Sep 2019. This role oversees the economic, social and physical development of the borough and leadership of the Net Zero vision. With her jo-share partner Sara Waller, she sponsors inclusive growth initiatives such as SC1, South Central London’s life sciences innovation district founded by King’s Health Partners, Guy’s & St Thomas’ Foundation, and Lambeth and Southwark Councils and Lambeth’s £8m Future Workspace investment fund supporting the low carbon, creative and digital and life sciences sectors. Prior to this role Eleanor was Director of Regeneration at Notting Hill Genesis, one of London’s largest Registered Social Landlords. She led the regeneration of the Aylesbury Estate; a £1.6bn 20 year project working in partnership with Southwark Council. She has a background in public sector enabled development having worked previously as the GLA/HCA leading on housing and land investment for South London and for the London Borough of Sutton
