Dr Tim Moonen is Co-Founder and Managing Director of The Business of Cities, an urban intelligence firm based in London. He has been supporting cities, companies and place partnerships with benchmarking, best practice, strategic planning and narrative for 15 years, working with more than 100 cities and institutions – including Amsterdam, Atlanta, Mumbai, New York, Stockholm, Sydney, Tel Aviv, Arup, European Investment Bank, JP Morgan and Urban Land Institute. This body of work is informed by The Business of Cities’ unique global database of city performance, innovation districts, and business leadership case studies. Tim is a Visiting Lecturer at UCL, and a partner to the urban thought leadership of Connected Places Catapult, JLL, World Bank and the University of Oxford.
