Senior Architect and Innovative Site Programme, Be First, Co Founder, Black Females in Architecture


Selasi Setufe is an architect with an interest in exploring socially responsive approaches to design, architecture and placemaking. As a Senior Architect and Innovative Sites Manager at Be First, she champions high quality design across a variety of projects ranging from large-scale masterplans to small site interventions where she helps to facilitate innovative solutions.

Selasi is co-director of Black Females in Architecture, an international membership organisation and social enterprise supporting and advocating for black women within the built environment industry.

Selasi was awarded an MBE for her services to diversity in Architecture in the Queen’s 2022 Honour’s List
