Mike has experienced a diverse, international portfolio of chair, NED, and advisor roles in FTSE and North American listed businesses, and in leading Education, Sports, and Arts organisations in the UK. He continues to be a member of several of these Boards.
Mike has extensive experience of representing the advanced manufacturing sector to national and regional government through leading roles in the Automotive Investment Organisation, the CBI and EEF (now Make UK).
His last executive role in automotive was as Executive Director of Jaguar Land Rover, retiring in 2016 having served on the management board for 12 years in a variety of roles with worldwide responsibility. He has extensive international experience having operated under 3 different international owners, led projects in a number of overseas markets and was based in Germany for 4yrs.
