Laia is Director of the World Cities Culture Forum, the leading global network of civic leaders from 40 cities. As Senior Advisor at the Mayor of London’s office, she led innovative policies including: the world’s first Creative Enterprise Zones, a new Culture at Risk Office and London’s most pro-culture urban plan ever. Laia shaped East Bank, the most ambitious culture district in 150 years and established the UK’s first Night Czar and the London Borough of Culture Award. Previously, Laia led high profile and award-winning creative programmes including for the BBC, the London 2012 Olympic Games and Tate Modern.
