Colin is a planner and urban designer with 30 years experience of working in London. Colin was initially seconded to LB Southwark from the GLA where he was responsible for the Mayors Opportunity Area Planning Frameworks, including those for Vauxhall Nine Elms, White City, Croydon, and the Royal Docks and for strategic planning applications. Since May 2018 he has been the Head of Regeneration for the Old Kent Road.
He is leading a project focused team responsible for planning policy, development management, regeneration projects including land assembly and purchase, and public consultation and engagement. Old Kent Road is targeted to deliver 20,000 new homes, 10,000 new jobs and an extension of the London Underground Bakerloo Line.
