May is Head of Sustainability and Stakeholder Engagement at Trilogy. She comes to Trilogy with 25 years’ experience of stakeholder engagement and partnership building in complex projects. One of her main areas of work at Trilogy is to work to build social value in the places Trilogy manages and develops. She is passionate about communities needing high quality spaces and places in which they can meet, organise, celebrate and support each other. She is clear that climate change is the defining threat that our generation faces.
She says: “Climate chaos is already bringing multiple challenges to communities here in the UK – extreme heat, flash floods and rising food prices. Now, more than ever, we need to create places which speak to our core human needs – and give communities the resources they need to make positive changes locally. Industry leaders also need to be at the forefront of pushing for systemic and strategic government action to address climate change – and transition swiftly away from fossil fuels.”
May has a First-Class Degree in Economics, Social Policy and primary and qualitative research. She is a government appointed High Street Task Force Expert and a Design Council, Built Environment Expert.
