John McElgunn

Partner, Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners


John is a Partner at Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners. He joined RSHP in 2001 and has been involved in several well-known projects including The Leadenhall Building, One Hyde Park and Neo Bankside.

John was the project architect on the World Conservation and Exhibition Centre (WCEC) at the British Museum which was shortlisted for the Stirling Prize in 2017. More recently he worked on the new conservation and collections facility for the Musée du Louvre located in Nord-Pas-de-Calais.

He is currently working on the British Library extension as well as other projects in London, the Middle East and the US. John’s role in the practice also keeps him heavily involved in recruitment, communications and establishing new business.
